We contacted Colourful Indian Holidays to organize our trip around the Golden Triangle. We had never been to India before, and were therefore keen to organise our travels through a reputable agent to ensure we would experience the most carefree and enjoyable trip possible.
Colourful Indian Holidays met and exceeded all our expectations. From when we first contacted them to the day we left India to return home, they ensured we were comfortable and very well looked after. The representatives took the time to meet us in person on our arrival, were constantly in contact throughout our journey to ensure we were well and pleased with the service. They took care of all our transport and accommodation, and it was evident that they had put a lot of thought into planning our trip: our driver was a real gentleman, reliable and completely trustworthy (an essential factor, as we were just 2 girls on our own travelling across a country we had never been to!); they organised exceptional and knowledgeable tour guides - who were all local to each place we visited – which meant we got more interesting bits of information beyond the text book  version of events. Also, we never felt pressured or pressed for time, and it was refreshing that the guides actually enjoyed showing us around to ensure our experience would be memorable. If it became evident that we had some time on our hands, the agent was ready to provide us with suggestions for other small excursions (for example, they had organised a last-minute trip to Pushkar so that we might see the famous camel fair). All in all, we could not have imagined how the service could have been any better, and we will most definitely contact them for any future trips to India .
