Travel to The Taj Mahal By road

Taj Mahal in Agra is a monument which no other in the world can match its beauty and grandeur. India travel is incomplete without experiencing Travel to the Taj Mahal by Road. This supreme temple of love, standing gracefully by the sacred Yamuna at Agra, is set amongst the serene ambience of a well laid out garden.

The massive white marble structure was built in the 17th century by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

Travel to the Taj Mahal by Road is a reflection of the gardens of Paradise to which the faithful ascend. The entire complex, with gardens, gateway structures, and mosque, was completed in 1643. The mausoleum stands at one end of the garden adorned with fountains and marble pavements.

Several private and  Governmental  buses connect Agra to Delhi, the journey taking 4-5 hours. Idgah bus stand is the main bus stand of Agra, from where one can catch buses for Delhi, Jaipur, Mathura, Fatehpur-Sikri and other cities .

The Travel to the Taj Mahal by Road is based on private departures , whereby you can benefit from having a private air-conditioned car, stop  route for breaks or photo opportunities but do not stop Governmental  buses. Yamuna Expressway, formerly known as Taj Expressway project was conceived with the idea of reducing the travel time between Delhi-Noida and Agra.

Reduce pollution and carbon footprint of vehicles travelling between New Delhi and Agra (commercial as well as tourists visiting the Travel to the Taj Mahal by Road). Taj Expressway will be a 6-lane (extendable to 8 lanes) access-controlled Expressway and will connect Delhi with Agra via Mathura.
